About the Conference

The conference has been organized into four (4) plenary sessions, each focusing on a separate area of emerging product development. The focus product areas will include:

• Medicines Products (medicines, therapeutic devices)
• Diagnostic and Biomarker Technologies
• Assistive Technologies (software, tablet platform applications, devices)
• Service

Each session will feature a brief introduction to the unmet needs shaping opportunities for product development in the focus area by an Autism Speaks Staff Expert, followed short presentations from 3‐4 companies representing examples of activity in the space. The sessions will each conclude with an open panel discussion involving questions and answers from the audience.

The format of the conference is intended to deliver a balance of relevant content and opportunities for attendees to engage in follow‐up discussion and professional networking during breaks. A reception featuring hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at the conclusion of the conference will afford even more opportunity for networking.
